There have been other road out-of-conference games in as-yet undefeated seasons where USF has escaped. The FAU game in 2007 comes to mind, where Ben Williams single-handedly carried the Bulls out of Boca with a win following a disastrous performance.
And today’s performance by D.J. Crowther enters that club. USF’s offensive line was nothing short of awful all day, but the defense and Crowther get the Bulls back to Tampa at 4-0, with six days to fix it. And fix it they better with a very plucky Temple Owls coming to Ray Jay for the final time.
