**PLAYER:** Arkese Parks

**POSITION:** Wide receiver

**YEAR:** Redshirt freshman

**HEIGHT/WEIGHT:** 6'2", 175 lbs.

**HOW DID HE GET HERE?** Parks started out at local Robinson High School, then transferred to Wharton for his sophomore season. There, he blossomed into a versatile two-sport star - and when I say versatile, I mean *versatile*. He played both football and basketball, and on the gridiron he played both running back and receiver. After his sophomore season, he started blowing up on the recruiting trail, earning a mid three-star rating and offers from the likes of Georgia, Florida State, and Penn State.

As he spent more time at receiver - and transferred back to Robinson as a senior - it seems like his recruiting process slowed down a bit. He ended up committing to USF just a couple days before early signing day in December 2023.

**HOW WAS HIS 2024 SEASON?** Parks redshirted in 2024 and didn’t see any playing time.

**WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT IN 2025?** Put it this way: I’m not *banking* on seeing Parks play much in 2025, but I would get very excited if we saw Parks play in 2025\. There are just too many receivers theoretically ahead of him for me to predict a huge leap in playing time, but Parks has a fun skillset and an impressive recruiting pedigree. I’d love to see what he can do.
