Stampeding Through the 2025 USF Football Roster: #7 WR Kory Pettigrew
SURPRISE TRIPLE NUMBER DAY
PLAYER: Kory Pettigrew
POSITION: Wide receiver
YEAR: Freshman
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6'1", 180 lbs.
HOW DID HE GET HERE? Pettigrew is a south Georgia man who played at Perry High School. He committed to the Bulls in June 2024 over a good selection of G5 offers including Memphis, Tulane, and UAB. Despite a late offer from Georgia Tech, he stayed locked in, signing and enrolling with USF in the winter.
WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT IN 2025? Similar to fellow incoming freshman receiver Jeremiah Koger, Pettigrew isn’t a bad bet for early playing time. He turned some heads in the spring game and has earned some love in recent pressers. USF has a lot of options at receiver, but they’re in need of some playmakers, so I’m keeping an eye on Pettigrew in 2025 and beyond.
